Mary N. Krumpak, 90, of McDonald, passed away on Monday, December 25, 2017, at St. Elizabeth Hospital. Mary was born March 9, 1927 in Girard, Ohio, the daughter of Bon and Margaret (Donahue) Watts. Mary had worked as a crane operator for US Steel during WW II, but for most of her life, Mary was a devoted wife and mother to her family. She was a member of Our Lady of Perpetual Help Church in McDonald, and during the 1950's, she was a champion bowler at the McDonald YMCA as well as a longtime member of the McDonald Junior Women's Club. Mary and her husband Joe, always enjoyed being with their family and always attending the children's, grandchildren's, and great-grandchildren's athletic events and activities. Mary leaves to cherish her memory, her husband of seventy years, Joseph J. Krumpak, Sr., whom she married November 8, 1947, her children; Mary Jo Krumpak of McDonald, William (Diane) Krumpak of Canfield, Frank Krumpak of Girard and Joseph J. (Teresa) Krumpak, Jr. of McDonald, her grandchildren; Brad, Josh, Michelle, Alyssa, Matthew and Cole and her great-grandchildren; Ava, Ella, Juliana, Zane, Joshua, Joey, Bennett, Laurel and Nathan. Besides her parents, Mary is preceded in death by her brothers Luke, Robert, B.A., and infant sibling Richard Watts, William "Cotton" Sheehan, and sisters Anna Mae Kilbourne, Eileen Riley, Betty Joynes and Rose Sheehan. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, December 28th, 7:00 PM at Blackstone Funeral Home where there will be a saying of the Rosary at 3:30 followed by the family receiving relatives and friends from 4:00 PM until the time of service.
