Andrew J. "Queso" Palguta

Andrew J. Palguta, known lovingly as "Queso" by friends and family, passed away unexpectedly on Monday, April 20th, 2026.

Andrew was born on June 3rd, 2005, in Warren Ohio.

He graduated in 2023 from the Trumbull Career and Technical Center and Girard High School, where he specialized in HVAC. He then went on to his employment with Clark Dietrich Building Systems.

Andrew enjoyed playing video games and collecting and trading Pokemon cards. Above all else, he cherished the time he spent with his close group of friends and his family. He was the type of person who always surrounded himself with his loved ones, helping them work on things or even just to hang out.

He leaves behind his mother, Jessica (Curto) Weiss; his father, Matthew Weiss; brothers, Matt Weiss, Brady Weiss, Angelo Palguta, and Aaron Perkins; sister, Abby Treharn; grandparents, Charmaine and Donald Deans, and Mike and Sherri Curto; along with numerous cousins and friends.

He is preceded in death by his grandmother, Mary Buck.

Family and friends will gather for visitation on Saturday, April 25th, 2026 at Blackstone Funeral Home from 5:00 - 7:00pm, with a funeral service to follow.

Andrew will be laid to rest at Girard City Cemetery, next to his grandmother.
