Charles “Randy” Stevens, of McDonald, passed away surrounded by the love of his family on Friday, March 27th, 2026.
Randy was born on March 15th,1947 in Youngstown; the eldest son of June and Charles Stevens.
He graduated from McDonald High School in 1965.
While enjoying his early retirement from General Motors after 32 years of service he continued to stay busy by offering his time and attention to anyone in need. Those that had the blessing of knowing him will remember Randy for his soft, kind words of encouragement and his overwhelming willingness to lend a helping hand. Perfect examples of his unrelenting selfless nature include caring for both his mother, June and Mother in law, Ann Marie Ceroli in their later years, supporting not only them but everyone around them.
Randy also spent many years traveling with his wife and family, specifically visiting their favorite spot of TopSail Island, NC. When the weather was warm, you could always find Randy on the golf course where he actively participated in the GM Retiree’s league. Additionally, Randy enjoyed gardening. He was also a profoundly talented woodworker, whose pieces can be found in nearly every family member's home. Above all else, Randy was steadfast in his love and undying devotion to his wife and children. His family was his ultimate pride and joy.
Randy is survived by his childhood sweetheart, Darlene (Tesone) Stevens; his children,Traci Daniluk of Niles and Christopher (Kristina) Stevens of Columbus; and his cherished grandchildren, Daniel Daniluk III, Rylie Daniluk, and Michael Stevens. He is also survived by his brother, Bob (Linda) Stevens of Girard; his sister, Laurie (Kene) Barber of McDonald; brother in law, Michael (Angie) Ceroli of North Carolina; and many beloved nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Mother in law Ann Marie Ceroli, and sister, Gail Fiddler.
The family would like to extend a special thank you to Harmony Hospice and Victoria House for their compassionate care and support.
Services will be held in private.
Randy will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.
