Christine Marie Young

Christine Marie Young, 82, of Girard, passed away on Friday, August 22, 2025, at Shepherd of the Valley in Girard, Ohio.

Christine was born on June 19th, 1942, the daughter of Dominic and Theresa (Belitto) Rozzo.

Christine dedicated her life to her family as a loving mother and great-grandmother. She was a member of St. Rose church, and formerly worked with the American Legion Auxiliary Post #235. She also spent many years working at Niles Book & News.

She was known by her loved ones as a true "cleaning fanatic" - she took pride in keeping her home spotless, and truly believed in the value of a tidy space.

Along with her love for a clean home, Christine was an avid Pittsburgh Steelers fan, and never missed a chance to cheer for her team.

But above all, Christine loved her family deeply, and cherished every moment spent with them.

She leaves behind her daughter, Tracy Marshall (Dom Gizzi); son, Derek Marshall; grandchildren, Kourtney and Alexa; great-grandchildren, Ariellah and Dylan Jr.; a sister, Anne Kohn; and brothers Dominic (Jackie) Rozzo Jr. and Patsy Rozzo.

Along with her parents, Christine is preceded in death by her sisters, Margaret Swain and Phyllis Collins.

Per Christine's wishes, there will be no services.
