Christopher Contestabile

Christopher Contestabile, 81, of Warren, passed away peacefully at home on December 21, 2025.

Christopher was born on October 14, 1944, in Youngstown, Ohio, a son to the late Christopher and Caroline "Dolly" (Jordan) Contestabile.

Christopher's career spanned various trades, including pest control for Common Wealth Exterminating, carpentry, and maintenance for Sac of Suds Laundromat.

A man of diverse interests, Christopher found joy in fishing, attending car shows, collecting items, and perfecting his carpentry skills.

He leaves to cherish his memories his wife Mildred (Hoover) Contestabile, who he married on October 23, 1965; his children, Andrew, Marty, Anthony, and Melissa Contestabile; his brother, Geno Contestabile; grandson, Kevin; and a great-granddaughter, Gracie.

Christopher is predeceased by his brothers, Pasquel and Louis Contestabile.

A visitation will be held on January 3rd from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM, followed by a funeral service at 2:00 PM, at Blackstone Funeral Home in Girard, Ohio.
