Constance C. Cizmar-Shultz, 66, a lifelong resident of liberty/Girard, passed away on Wednesday, January 28th, 2026, at St. Elizabeth's Hospital in Boardman.
Constance, also lovingly known as "Connie," was born on November 29, 1959, a daughter to Edward and Janet (Thompson) Cizmar.
She was a Liberty High School graduate, Youngstown state alumni and a member of Pleasant Valley Church.
Connie worked for several years as an optician for Dr. Sforza, and various other optical offices.
She loved music and proudly served as a Band Booster for Girard High School for many years, flag line advisor and the “voice “of the Girard marching band, even after her son’s graduation!
She especially loved watching and listening to Elvis, watching old reruns and going to see live music, Always her sons number one fan.
Constance leaves to cherish her memory her son, Grant Shultz; her former husband and dear friend, Scott Shultz; her sister, Suzanne Sovanick; Katie Gray; and her beloved bonus "nieces," Audrey and Riley.
She is preceded in death by her parents.
To honor Connie's wishes, there will be tribute concert Friday, February 6 at 8pm
