Craig Smith

Craig Smith, 51,of Girard, passed away on Friday, April 17, 2026, at University Hospital in Cleveland. 

He was born on May 3, 1974 in Youngstown, Ohio, a son to the late Ivor and Joan (Wester) Smith.

Craig was a graduate of Liberty High School’s class of 1992 and went on to forge a successful career spanning two decades as a Dimensional Inspector at ECM.

Craig was passionate about the outdoors. He loved hiking, boating, and overlanding adventures with his Jeep. A true Jeep Wrangler enthusiast, he was known for his extensive knowledge and genuine affection for the vehicle, which brought him countless hours of enjoyment and exploration.

Family was the cornerstone of Craig’s life, and he took immense pride in his role as a husband and father.

He is survived by his wife, Christina (Stambaugh) Smith, and their cherished daughter, Annabelle Smith, whom he regarded as his proudest accomplishment. Craig also leaves behind his sister, his brother, Bryan Smith; his sister, Heather (Edwin) Baldwin; and his nephews and nieces: Eddie, Joey, and Chloe Baldwin. Their presence was a source of great joy to him, and his legacy will live on through them.

The family will receive relatives and friends on Sunday, April 26th from 2-4 PM at Blackstone Funeral Home in Girard, with a funeral service to follow at 4:00 PM.
