Curtis M. Watson

Curtis M. Watson, 77, of Uniontown, Ohio, passed away on Wednesday, May 7th, 2025, at Mercy Hospital in Canton.

Curt was born June 16th, 1947 in Youngstown, Ohio, to Barden Watson and Helen (Koren) Watson.

He graduated from Girard High School in 1965, and later obtained his Bachelor's Degree in Business mangement from Youngstown State University in 1975. Curtis went on to his career with Ohio Edison, retiring after 40 years with them.

Curtis married his wife, Kathy, on December 1, 1967, and they shared 57 years of life together - they enjoyed traveling, especially to their beach house on Top Sail Island in North Carolina.

He was also a dog lover, owning many throughout his life, specifically Scottish Terriers.

He leaves to cherish his memory his loving wife, Kathy (Rishel) Watson; his sister, Pat (Merle) McClean; numerous nieces and nephews; and his beloved Scottish Terrier, Ella, who misses him deeply.

Along with his parents, Curt is preceded in death by his brother, Larry Watson.

He will be laid to rest in Girard Union cemetery. Per the family's wishes, services for Curtis will be private.
