Danny Kerr, 73, of Liberty Township, passed away on Wednesday, July 1, 2026, at Hospice House in Poland.

Danny was born on October 16, 1952, in Clarksburg, West Virginia, a son of Quentin and Genevieve (Reddinger) Kerr.

He worked for 17 years at General Fireproofing and later retired from Ball Corporation, where he served as a production scheduler.

Danny was a member of Churchill United Methodist Church.

He was a true Harley-Davidson enthusiast and found great joy in riding and owning motorcycles. He also enjoyed spending quiet time outdoors hunting and fishing.

Danny was a creative and artistic spirit who enjoyed painting and also played both the drums and piano.

He is survived by his son, Danny Kerr, and son-in-law Eugene Cubbal of North Carolina; his granddaughter, Phoebe Morton, and her parents Justin and Jodi Mortin; his brother, Quentin “Sparky” Kerr, and sister-in-law Cindy Kerr of Howland; and his niece, Lesley Kerr of New Castle.

Along with his parents, Danny is preceded in death by his wife, Gale "Cokie" Thorsby, whom he married in 1973; and his daughter, Becky Wendel.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, July 8, 2026, at Blackstone Funeral Home beginning at 10:00 a.m., with a memorial service to follow at 11:00 a.m.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial contributions be made to Tails of Hope, a nonprofit animal clinic, 2450 Hoezle Road, Hermitage, PA 16148.
