Donald Rhodes

Donald E. (Streets) Rhodes, 64, of Youngstown, passed away suddenly on Monday February 22, 2016 at St. Elizabeth Medical Center after suffering a heart attack at work. Donald was born May 30, 1951 in Youngstown. He was a graduate of McDonald High School, class of 1970. Donald was employed at Diver Steel City Auto Crusher for the past 41 years. He was a NASCAR fan with his favorite drivers being Dale Earnhardt Sr. and Jr. and a Dallas Cowboy fan. Donald will be remembered and missed by his twin brother Ronald (Joan) Rhodes, with whom he made his home, and brothers; George (Peggy) Hall, Alvin Hall, sisters;Barbara (Donald) Flipin ,and Deborah Huston, several nieces, nephews, great- nieces and great-nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins. Donald was preceded in death by his parents, George and Barbara Hall, brother Harold Abbott and sister-in-law Cynthia Hall. The family will receive relatives and friends on Sunday from 2-4 PM at Blackstone Funeral Home in Girard. Funeral services will be held on Monday, February 29th, 11:00 AM at the funeral home.
