Donna Morgan

Donna Lee Morgan, 82, of Girard, formerly of Jacksonville, Florida, passed away on Saturday September 14, 2024 at St. Elizabeth Hospital in Youngstown. 

Donna was born April 2, 1942 in Youngstown, Ohio a daughter of Daniel and Thelma (Davis) Morgan. 

She was a 1960 graduate of Liberty High School.

Donna worked at Packard Electric as an assembler for 28 years, retiring in 1997. She was an avid golfer and was active in many golf leagues. Donna also enjoyed tennis, snow skiing, water skiing and taught swim lessons at the YMCA. Above all else she cherished her time with family and friends.

Donna leaves to cherish her memory her son, Bert James (Kim) Cole Jr., of Tennessee, sisters, Myrtlann “Mert” Moore of Hubbard, Dianne Buser of Girard, Mary Lou Duff (Larry Sherer) of Cuyahoga Falls, brother, Richard Morgan (Becky Babbs) of St. Augustine and granddaughter Casey Lynn Cole, who was the love of her life, along with many nieces and nephews.

Along with her parents Donna is preceded in death by her brother, Nicholas Malutic, her godson, Eugene Buser III, and brother in laws, Eugene Buser and Gary Moore.

The family will receive relatives and friends on Saturday, September 21st from 11AM-12PM with a funeral service following at 12:00 PM at Blackstone Funeral Home in Girard.

Donna will be laid to rest at Belmont Park Cemetery next to her parents.
