Donna J Revella

Donna J Revella, 83, of Girard, passed away on Wednesday October 19, 2011 at Trumbull Memorial Hospital.  Donna was born July 8, 1928 in Berlin Center, Ohio, the daughter of the late William and Violet Kime Leith.  Donna and her late husband Bert, owned and operated the Avon Oaks Ballroom for 41 years  until 2005.  She had previously worked for Packard Electric, was a member of St. Rose Church and was an avid fan of the Cleveland Indians.  She is survived by her children Deborah A. (Bob) Johnson of Greensburg, Pa., Michael W. (Sally) Revella of Girard, Albert J. Revella Jr. of Girard, Andrew J. Revella of Girard and Charmaine Revella of Girard, grandchildren Jordana Revella, Bobby Johnson, Michael Karabin, Annie (Jason) Goshay, Ashley (Doug) Corp, Sara Revella, Jonathan Karabin, Chelsea Pascarella and Ross Revella, great-grandchildren Matthew and Sophia, and sisters Joan Ifft of Niles and Sandy Thomason of Warren.  She is preceded in death by her husband Albert J. Revella whom she married April 29, 1947 and died April 8, 2001.  A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday October 22nd, 10:00 AM, at St. Rose Church preceded by a prayer service at 9:30 AM at the Blackstone Funeral Home in Girard.  The family will receive relatives and friends on Friday from 5-7PM at the funeral home.  Interment will take place at Girard City Cemetery.  Visit www.blackstonesfh.com to view this obituary and to send condolences to the Revella family.
