Dorothea Polite

Dorothea L. Polite, 66, of Youngstown, passed away on May 31, 2024 at St. Elizabeth Hospital in Youngstown. Dorothea was born September 19, 1957 in Youngstown, Ohio, the daughter of John W. and Alice (Patterson) Baili.

She graduated from Cardinal Mooney and attended YSU and received her MS Degree. She worked as a therapist at Coleman Professional Services.

 Dorothea was a very spiritual person and was into astrology. She was a excellent writer and and would write poetry in her free time.

 Dorothea leaves to cherish her memory, her mother Alice; step son, Kherpi Polite; and sister, Colleen Mandell. She is preceded in death by her father John, her husband Frank C. Polite who passed in 2005; her sister Darleen Lindstrom and brother Thomas C. Patterson. 

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, June 29th, 1:00 PM at the Unitarian Universalist Church, 1105 Elm St., Youngstown, Ohio.
