Edythe Rose Mills, 70, of Girard, passed away at Cleveland Clinic on April 2, 2024. She was born in Youngstown on October 14, 1953, to Stephen and Betty Genetta.
She was a 1972 graduate of Girard High School.
Edythe was a remarkable individual known for her entrepreneurial spirit. Over the years, she owned and operated Kwik-Dri Carpet Cleaning and Sew What sewing shop, leaving a lasting impact on the local business landscape. Prior to her entrepreneurial ventures, she dedicated many years of her life to Charter One Bank in Girard.
She found joy in simple pleasures like reading, cooking delicious meals, and watching true crime shows. Above all else, Edythe cherished spending time with her grandchildren, emphasizing the importance of family.
Edythe will be dearly missed by her children Carrie Cribbs of Girard and Will Benton of Girard; her sister Karen Kowal; her brother Gary (Angie) Genetta; as well as her grandchildren Grayson Cribbs, Rebecca Benton, and Marlee Benton.
She is now reunited in peace with her late father ,Stephen Genetta, mother, Betty Bloom Genetta and daughter, Nicole Zelonis.
In accordance with Edythe's wishes there will be no services.
