Eileen G. Myers

Eileen G. Myers,89, of McDonald, passed away on Tuesday, July 30, 2024, at the Hospice House, in Poland, Ohio. She was surrounded by her loving family during her final moments. Born on January 7, 1935, in McDonald, Ohio, a daughter to Matthew and Ann (Fortune) Killin. Eileen spent her life spreading love and joy to all those around her. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother to her family.

Eileen's passion for reading, cooking, and especially baking, brought comfort and happiness to her family and friends.

She is survived by her daughters: Debbie (Rick) Lewis, Denise (Ken) Walls, Kim (Mark) Witkoski, and Tammy (Gary) Shells; grandchildren: Kristin (Matt) Jaggers, Brittany (Joe) Mayette, Amanda (Jeremy) Haynes, Jason Witkoski, Lauren (Brett) Cubellis, Kate Shells and Kenzie Shells; great-grandchildren: Colton, Ellie, Hunter, Isabella, Theo, and Ava; 

Eileen is preceded in death by her husband, Fred Myers whom she married March 6, 1954 and died June 26, 2020; sisters: Margaret Smith, Jean McClain, Rosemarie Cuthbertson and Deloris Harcarik.

A visitation will be held on August 3rd starting at 10:00 AM followed by a memorial service at 11:00 AM at Woodland Park United Methodist Church, located at 601 Ohio Avenue in McDonald, Ohio.

Eileen will be deeply missed but her legacy of love and compassion will continue to live on in the hearts of all who knew her. May she rest in eternal peace.
