Evelyn "Evie" P. (Krause) Drevet

Evelyn "Evie" P. Drevet, 95, of Girard, passed away on January 24, 2018 at Liberty Health Care Center in Youngstown. Evie was born on February 17, 1922 in Youngstown. Ohio, the daughter of the late August H. and Margaret (Higgat) Krause.Prior to retirement Evie was a Bookkeeper at the Finance Company in Youngstown. She was a member of Christ Church Presbyterian, Order of The White Shrine of Jerusalem and the Youngstown Country Club. She enjoyed golfing and bowling, and had been on several golf and bowling leagues, and also loved playing bridge. She is survived by her step-daughter, Patricia (Kester) Hill of Girard, six grandchildren, four great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren. Evie is preceded in death by her husband, Henry S. Drevet Sr., whom she married November 10, 1954 and died March 15, 2004, her step-son, Henry S. Drevet Jr. and his wife, Carolyn, her sisters, Helen Nemusek and Ruth Krause, her brother Nelson Krause and a grandson, Jeff Drevet. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, January 30th, 12:00 PM at Blackstone Funeral Home where the family will receive relatives and friends from 11:00 AM until the time of service. Evie will be laid to rest next to her husband at Tod Homestead Cemetery.
