Francis Fitch, 67, of Girard, passed away on July 29, 2024, peacefully at Caprice Health Care in North Lima, Ohio. Born on September 9th, 1956, in Youngstown, Ohio, Frank was a beloved son of John R. Fitch and Shirley (Holland) Fitch.
Known for his generous spirit and warm personality, Frank touched the lives of many through his work at Syro Steel and various warehouses over the years. His dedication and hard work were truly commendable.
Outside of work, Frank found joy in pursuing his hobbies and interests. He was an amateur carpenter with a knack for creating beautiful pieces, a talented cook and spent time playing the drums. Frank volunteered in his spare time at the Emmanuel Community Care Center.
Frank's memory will be cherished by his surviving family and friends, including his sisters Kathryn (Richard) Harasyn and Mary (William) Carney. He also leaves behind his nephew Macsen (Renee) Harasyn and niece Pamela Harasyn, who will always remember him fondly.
A Funeral Service to honor and celebrate the life of Frank Fitch will be held on August 1st, at Girard City Cemetery. The service will start at 11:00 AM. Frank will be laid to rest next to his mother.
In our hearts forever, Frank's legacy of kindness and compassion will continue to inspire those who were fortunate enough to have known him. May he rest in peace knowing that he was loved deeply by all who had the privilege of being a part of his life.
The family asks that memorial contributions be made to the Emmanuel Community Care Center in memory of Frank.
