Janet Edwards

Janet Edwards, 81, of McDonald, passed away on Saturday, October 26, 2024 at St. Elizabeth Hospital in Youngstown.

Janet was born May 15, 1943 in New Castle, PA, a daughter to the late William and Ruth (Johnston) Nesbitt.

She received her bachelor’s degree in education from Westminster College and had worked for Litco for 20 years until her retirement.

Janet was a member of First Christian Church in Girard.

In her spare time Janet enjoyed shopping, sewing, bowling and going on bus trips with her friends.

Janet leaves to cherish her memory her sons, Jeffrey (Joycie) Edwards Sr. and Brian (Tiffany) Edwards; grandchildren, Seth (Lindsay), Bethany, Sarah, Jeffrey Jr., Noah (Hadassah), Caleb and Simon; and one great grandchild, Riley.

Along with her parents Janet is preceded in death by her husband, William Edwards.

A Memorial service will be held on Friday November 1st at 6:00pm at Open Door community Church in McDonald Ohio at 525 East Marshall Road McDonald Ohio 44427.

Janet will be laid to rest at Greenhaven Cemetery next to her husband.
