Janet Mehalco

Janet Mehalco, 88, of Girard, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, March 31, 2026 at Windsor House in Masury.

Janet was born on April 26, 1937 in Youngstown, Ohio, a daughter to the late Victor and Goldie (Snidman) Bujher.

She was a graduate of Girard High School and devoted her life to caring for her family.

In her spare time Janet enjoyed painting and watching TV, but most of all she enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Janet leaves to cherish her memory her sons, John Mehalco (Mary Lou) and William (Donna) Mehalco Jr.; sister, Charlotte Fuller; grandchildren, William (Hayley) Mehalco, Mark (Andrea) Mehalco and Kelly (Bradley) Zuckerwise; and great grandchildren, Bella, Madelyn, Hudson and Henry.

Along with her parents Janet is preceded in death by her husband, William M. Mehalco Sr., who passed away on December 8, 1992.

In accordance with Janet’s wishes there will be no services.
