Janet Claire Seemiller, 83, of Liberty Twp., passed away peacefully on Tuesday, January 26, 2016. Janet was born November 23, 1932 in Pittsburgh, Pa., the daughter of the late Francis and Mildred Ochsenhirt Becker.
She was a lifelong resident of Liberty Twp graduating from Liberty High School as class Valedictorian in 1950.
Janet retired in 1994 as a head teller for Mahoning Bank, in Liberty Twp. after 20 years. She was a former 4H Club leader and member of the Liberty Historical Society. Janet loved to swim, crochet, cook and travel with her husband of 65 years, Robert Seemiller. She leaves to cherish her memory, her children, Karen (Fred) Hickok, of N. Ridgeville, Ohio, Cherri (Jack) Irgang, of Girard, Ohio and Mark (Jennie) Seemiller, of Steubenville, Oh, six grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. Private services were held at Blackstone Funeral Home.
