Remembering Jerry D. "Goose" Kohn

It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Jerry D. "Goose" Kohn, of Girard, on July 29, 2025. He lived a life with love, laughter and cherished moments that will forever remain in our hearts. Today we gather to honor his memory and celebrate the remarkable man he was.

Jerry D. "Goose" Kohn, born on February 11, 1961 to James E. Kohn Sr. and Bonnie L. (Spiker) Kohn. He loved Elvis, fishing, hunting, working on cars and having a cold one with friends at the Arc and IFH Club.

He is survived by his daughter, Tabitha (Adam) Jornigan of Girard, his son, Jerry (Relisha) Kohn of Fort Worth, Texas, and his daughter, Joann Kohn of Liberty Twp.; nine grandchildren and five great-grandchildren; brothers, Jesse (Margie) Kohn of Liberty and Jeffery (Lori) Kohn of Liberty; sisters, Rhonda (Willie Rice) of Vienna and Vernie Stankorb of Youngstown; and many nieces and nephews he loved dearly.

He was preceded in death by his loved ones; his father, James E. Kohn Sr.; mother, Bonnie L Spiker Kohn; brother, James E. Kohn Jr., and his sister in law, Betty Kohn.

Per Jerry's wishes, there will be no services.
