JoAnn Acierno

JoAnn Acierno, 96, of Conneaut, formerly of Girard, passed away on Monday, April 13, 2026, at Villa at the Lake.

JoAnn was born on April 20, 1929 in Youngstown, Ohio, a daughter to the late Milo and Margaret Arrance.

Throughout her life, JoAnn embraced the role of homemaker with grace and commitment, creating a warm and nurturing environment for her loved ones. Known for her calm and steady demeanor, she was a true homebody who found comfort and joy within her own surroundings. Her appreciation for the simple beauties of life was reflected in her fondness for hummingbirds, a hobby and interest that brought her quiet pleasure.

She is survived by her granddaughter, Bethany (Anthony) Giarratano.

Along with her parents JoAnn was preceded in death by her beloved husband, John Acierno, with whom she shared many years of marriage. She was also the mother of Janet, John, and Joanie Acierno, all of whom preceded her in passing.

In accordance with JoAnn's wishes there will be no services.
