John "Jack" Duruttya

John “Jack” Duruttya, 93, of Girard, passed away on Wednesday, November 27, 2024 in the comfort of his home.

Jack was born December 12, 1930 in Hickory, PA, a son to John and Josephine (Pirrung) Duruttya.

He proudly served his country in the United States Navy and was honorably discharged.

Jack was a machinist for 29 years working for Wean United and retiring from Glunt Machines.

In life Jack enjoyed going to car shows, listening to old music especially polka music and his two dogs, Gizzy and Cookie.

Jack leaves to cherish his memory his daughter, Debbie (Vic) Glover of Howland.

Along with his parents Jack is preceded in death by his daughter, Sheryl Stamp and sister, Norma Jean Duruttya.

In accordance with Jack’s wishes there will be no services.

Jack will be laid to rest at Morefield Cemetery.
