John A. Orndorff

John A. Orndorff, 74, of Hubbard, passed away on October 1, 2024 at St. Elizabeth Hospital. 

John was born August 24, 1950 in Hanover, PA, a son to Lt. Col. Norman and Leone (Sanders) Orndorff. 

John served his country in the United States Army.

He was a truck driver for PPG and other companies for 40 years and retired in 2011. 

John was a member of ARES and a American Red Cross volunteer.

John enjoyed ham radio, cutting the grass and talking with the Dunkin Donuts group.

John leaves to cherish his memory his wife of 42 years, Paula (Helfrich) Orndorff, who he married May 1, 1982; sisters, Libby Chew, Pat (Bill) Nesbit, Mary Hoff and Yvonne (David) Nowotarski; along with many nieces and nephews. 

Along with his parents John is preceded in death by his Brother Joseph Orndorff. 

Private services will be held at Tod Homestead Cemetery.
