Joseph M. Lewis Jr.

Joseph Merle Lewis Jr., 17, passed away, Tuesday, August 21, 2018 at his home. Joey was born June 4, 2001, in Youngstown, Ohio, the son of Joseph Merle Lewis Sr., and Bobbie J. Poe. He had attended Girard High School. Joey had wanted to join the military and enjoyed hunting and playing video games. Besides his parents, he is survived by his sisters; Alexus Lewis of Girard, Xialianna Aubel of Girard, Angelina Elmore of Niles, Tangiera Lewis of Vienna and Summer Davis of Vienna, his brothers; Joel Aubel of Girard, Seth Medley of Girard, Evan Lewis of Mineral Ridge and Ethan Davis of Vienna  his grandparents; Frank Dean of Girard and Tracey Boggs of Girard, and his nieces Serenity and Iris Habib. A time of remembrance will be held on Friday at 2:00 PM at Blackstone Funeral Home, where the family will receive relatives and friends from  12:00 - 2:00 PM.
