Judith K. Mirone

Judith "Judy" Karen Mirone, 86, of Girard, passed away peacefully on Friday, July 24th, 2026, at Austinwoods Health Center.

Judy was born November 23rd, 1939, a daughter to the late Raymond and Mildred (Poorman) Price.

Judy was a former member of First Christian Church in Girard. She will be remembered for the love she shared with her family, especially through the Sunday dinners she hosted, where home-cooked meals, card games, laughter, and cherished memories brought everyone together.

She enjoyed baking homemade pizzelles each holiday season to share with friends and family and had a passion for making ceramics, often gifting her handmade creations to loved ones. Judy was also a devoted Tom Jones fan who loved attending his concerts, enjoyed playing Bingo with friends and in her younger years, found joy in bowling. More than anything, Judy treasured the time she spent with her family, creating traditions and memories that will continue to live on in their hearts.

Judy's memory lives on through her children, Jody Mirone, Joy (Jim) Colley, Joseph Mirone, and Jeffrey (Lelah) Mirone; grandchildren, Randy (Leslie) Daniels, Christopher (Kourtney) Colley, Nicole, Dylan and Elizabeth Mirone; great-grandchildren, Blake, Brody, Aubree and Ashton.

Along with her parents, Judy is preceded in death by her husband of 28 years, Joseph F. Mirone, who passed on January 2, 1991; and her siblings, Janice Thomas, Nancy Ludt, Patricia Orechoneg, Raymond Price, and Fred Price

Visitation for Judy will be held on Sunday, August 2nd, 2026, from 1:00pm - 3:00pm at Blackstone Funeral Home, with a funeral service to follow at 3pm.

She will be laid to rest at Lake Park Cemetery, alongside her husband Joseph.
