Kristin Karol Speck, age 81, of Girard, Ohio, went home to be with the Lord on August 6th, 2026. She was born May 3, 1945, in Pennsylvania, the only child of Arthur and Geraldine Hagg. She peacefully went home to be with the Lord, leaving behind a lifetime of love, faith, and service.
A graduate of Liberty High School, she was a devoted wife and mother who treasured her family above all else. Her family was the center of her world, and she showed her love through her kindness, encouragement, and unwavering support.
Her faith in Jesus Christ guided every part of her life. She was a faithful member of her church, where she found great joy in serving others. Whether lending a helping hand, volunteering whenever needed, or encouraging those around her, she lived her faith through her actions.
Music was one of her greatest passions. She loved singing in the church choir, lifting her voice in praise, and playing her tambourine during worship. Her joyful spirit and love for gospel music touched many hearts.
She also had a special fondness for Elvis Presley. His music brought her happiness throughout her life and always put a smile on her face.
She will be remembered for her generous heart, her servant's spirit, her joyful singing, and the love she shared so freely with everyone she met. Her legacy of faith, compassion, and devotion to her family will continue to inspire all who knew and loved her.
Though she will be deeply missed, her loved ones find comfort in knowing she is now in the presence of her Savior, Jesus Christ, whom she faithfully loved and served throughout her life.
She leaves behind her beloved sons, Arthur (Lisa) Speck of Gulfport, Mississippi, and Paul (Ellen) Speck of Kingsland, Georgia, and five grandchildren, Raymond Rilyn of Gulfport, Mississippi; and Rachel, Julia and Vanessa of Kingsland, Georgia; friends; and church family; all of whom were blessed by her love and example.
She was preceded in death by her granddaughter, Rebecca; and her husband, David. May her memory forever be a blessing.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday August 11th, 2026, 12:00 PM at Blackstone Funeral Home in Girard, Ohio, with visitation beginning at 11:00AM.
