Lenore Lubonovich, 79, of Hubbard, passed away on February 17, 2026, at St. Elizabeth Hospital in Youngstown.
Lenore was born January 25, 1947, a daughter to the late Paul and Victoria (Costarella) Lubonovich.
She graduated from Hubbard High School in 1965 and went on to enjoy various jobs throughout her career. However, her heart remained with the Purple Cat adoption, where she found fulfillment in helping find loving homes for cats.
In addition to her deep love for cats, Lenore had a deep appreciation for country western music.
Lenore is survived by her brothers, Michael "Kim" (Sue) Lubonovich and Thane (Terry) Lubonovich.
The family will receive relatives and friends on Friday, February 20th from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM, and again on Saturday, February 21st from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM all at Blackstone Funeral Home in Girard with a funeral service to follow at 11:00 AM.
Lenore will be laid to rest at Belmont Park Cemetery.
