Linda Cannistra

Linda S. (Semko) Cannistra, 73, of Warren, passed away peacefully on Friday, December 12, 2025, at St. Joseph Hospital in Warren, Ohio.

She was born on October 2, 1952, in Warren, Ohio, the daughter of John and Dorothy (Kirkwood) Semko.

Linda dedicated more than 32 years of service to the hospitality industry, retiring from the Holiday Inn in Boardman, Ohio. She was a member of Liberty Assembly of God in Liberty, Ohio, where her faith was an important and guiding part of her life.

Linda will be remembered by family and friends as a deeply giving and compassionate presence in the lives she touched. With kindness and steady generosity, she was always willing to help others, asking little in return. Her caring spirit left a lasting impression on all who had the privilege of knowing her.

She leaves to cherish her memory her loving husband of 47 years, Charles Cannistra; her son, Anthony Cannistra; and her sister, Louise Culver.

Along with her parents, Linda was preceded in death by her sisters, Deborah Sullivan and Donna D’Amelio, and her brother, John “Butch” Semko Jr.

Linda will be laid to rest at Belmont Park Cemetery.
