Linda Marie Culver (Palermo), 77, of Howland, passed away on Tuesday, January 20th, 2026.

Linda was a dedicated educator whose career spanned forty years with Warren City Schools. She graduated from Niles High School, earned a Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education from Youngstown State University, and later completed a Master’s Degree in Educational Curriculum at Ashland University. Together they raised two children: Donald Edwin Culver III (Andrea) of Tampa, Florida; and Christina Ferreri of Howland, Ohio.
Linda was a devoted grandmother to Logan, Madelyn, and Mason Culver of Tampa, Florida, and Joscelyn Ferreri of Howland, Ohio. Following her husband’s passing in 2016, she resided with her daughter and granddaughter in Howland Township. She previously lived in Liberty Township, where she raised her family.
A lifelong Catholic and longtime member of St. Rose Parish in Girard, Ohio, Linda placed family at the center of her life. She cherished time spent cooking and baking and took great pride in carrying on Italian traditions, especially the Feast of the Seven Fishes and her beloved Christmas cookie trays. She loved traveling to Florida and Georgia to celebrate milestones with her grandchildren and also enjoyed traveling with her daughter, granddaughter, and close friends. Linda was often considered a second mother and surrogate grandmother to many, affectionately known as “Nana."
