Linda Darlene Tucker

Linda Darlene Tucker, 75, of Cortland, Ohio, passed away on Wednesday, June 11, 2025, at the Cleveland Clinic.

Linda was born on February 17, 1950, to Samuel and Anita (Dutton) Summers in Fowler, Ohio.

She graduated from Mathews High School in 1968, and went on to Trumbull Memorial Nursing school, where she received her Registered Nurse license and began her career. She worked for Trumbull Memorial Hospital, Hospice of the Valley, Visiting Nurses Association and Forum Health.

Linda was a member of Cortland Christian Church and also was part of the Trumbull County Boat Club.

Linda enjoyed spending time with her friends and family. She enjoyed time on her boat and watching her nature shows

She volunteered at her church as well as Hospice of the Valley

Linda leaves cherished memories to her children, Corinna (Donald) Schenker, of Canfield, OH, Kent (Amanda) Tucker, of Austintown, OH, and Alison Giraldo, of Cleveland, OH; her sister, Janice Summers, of Mesa, AR; her brother William Summers of Fowler, OH; her grandchildren, Jarrod, Adam, Anthony & Olivia Catauro, Hannah Vega Grobelich, Marissa Vega, Shianne, Alissa, Seth and Ryder Tucker, Dennis, Jocelyn, and Addison Giraldo; and great-grandchildren, Vincent and Avianna Grobelich.

Along with her parents, Linda is preceded in death by her husband, Kenneth Tucker, who she married December 19, 1970 and who passed July 27, 2013; her brother, Thomas Summers and her niece, Alexis Vega.

The family will receive relatives and friends on Thursday, June 19th from 5:00 - 7:00 PM at Blackstone Funeral Home in Girard, and also on Friday from 10:00 - 11:00 AM. The Nightingale Nurse Honor Guard service will be held Thursday evening at 6:45 PM. Funeral services will be held on Friday, June 20th, at 11:00 AM at the funeral home.

Linda will be laid to rest at Corner House Church Cemetery in Hubbard, Ohio, next to her husband Kenneth.
