Lionel J. Trebilcock, 95, of Liberty Twp., walked home with the Lord on Tuesday September 13, 2011.
He was born October 15, 1915 in Cleveland, Ohio, the son of the former Arthur & Lavina Merifield Trebilcock.  He formerly worked as a plant manager for Islay Dairy in Youngstown for 40 years retiring in 1965 and then worked as a manager for Litco, International Inc. in Vienna retiring in 2001.  Lionel is a life time member of Pleasant Valley Church in Liberty Twp., and was a Lay-Leader and elder in the Church.  He was past president of Warren Rescue Mission, board member for 50 years for Falcon Foundry, and member of New Life Assembly Church in Marco Island, Florida.  He ran the mile for Liberty high School were he held the Trumbull Co. record for many years and also competed in a marathon from Parkard Park in Warren to Idora Park in Youngstown.  Lionel was inducted into the first Liberty High School Hall of Fame in 1997 for Track .  He is survived by his wife the former Jean DelBono whom he married on September 16, 1997, two sons, Lionel F (Shirley) Trebilcock and Gary L. (Sue) Trebilcock  both of Liberty Twp., step-children, Linda Cotterman, Kimberly Rae (Donald) Cole, and Michael (Elizabeth) DelBono, brother, Charles (Virginia) Trebilcock of Liberty Twp., eleven grandchildren, twelve great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.  He was preceded in death by his sister, Joan Watt, brothers, Richard, and Raymond Trebilcock. Funeral Service will be held at Pleasant Valley Church in Liberty Twp., on Saturday September 17, 2011 at 1:00 PM where family will receive relatives and friends from 10:00 to 1:00 PM with service to follow.  Interment will be held at Crown Hill Cemetery.  Arrangements have been entrusted to Blackstone Funeral Home.  Family request in lieu of flowers a memorial contribution be made to the Church Benevolence fund.
