Marguerite A. Cigolle

Marguerite A. Cigolle, 89, of Girard died on February 17, 2024 at Liberty Health Care. 

Marguerite was born on July 12, 1934 in Kent, Ohio, the daughter of Anselm and Carrie Visca and was a long time area resident.

Mrs. Cigolle was a graduate of Kent State High School and worked as a secretary at the Lamb Electric in Kent. She was a member of the Junior Women’s Club of Girard and the Catholic Women’s Club of St. Rose Parish.

Her husband, Henry E. Cigolle Jr., whom she married on June 23, 1956 died in April of 2009. 

She leaves two daughters, Lizabeth (Gary) Kuty of Ocala, FL, Christine(Tom) Knestrict of Mason, Ohio, son Hank(Trish) Cigolle of Myrtle Beach, two sisters, Judy Foster and Joan Linnen and seven grandchildren, Anne Kuty, Gary(Kate)Kuty, Aaron(Emma) Knestrict, Olivia( Christian) Davis, Ally Knestrict, Emily(Chris) Lillis, Katie Cigolle and two great grandchildren Declan and Aurora.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, February 24th 11:00 AM at Blackstone Funeral Home, with a gathering of family and friends from 10:30 AM until the time of service. 

The family requests memorial donations be made to St. Rose Church (48 Main St. Girard, OH 44420).
