Mary Ann "Connie" DePascale, 94, formerly of Girard, passed away on Thursday, June 8, 2017 at Antonine Village in North Jackson. Connie was born February 28, 1923 in Morewood,Pennsylvania, the daughter of William and Mary (Hripko) Melago.
Connie was a member of St. Thomas the Apostle Church in Vienna. Prior to retirement, she worked more than 30 years as a Wire Cutter for Packard Electric. Connie enjoyed knitting, crocheting, testing her luck at the casino and playing cards with family and friends.
Connie leaves to cherish her memory her children; Kathleen (Victor) Spess of Vienna and Bart (Erin) DePascale of South Carolina, her brother; Joseph (Eleanor) Melago of Austintown, her grandchildren; Lt. Col. David (Emily) Spess, Gina Marie (Duke) Hunt, Brian DePascale, Angela DePascale and Vincent ( Jaime) DePascale, ten great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews
Besides her parents, Connie is preceded in death by her infant daughter Mary Ann DePascale, her sister Helen DeMarco, and her brothers John, Steve, and William Melago.
A memorial mass will be held at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, June 13th, at St. Thomas the Apostle Church. The family will receive relatives and friends from 10 a.m. until the time of service at the church.
