Paul R. Patterson

Paul R. Patterson,74, of Girard, passed away on Monday, March 16, 2026 at Hospice House in Poland.

Paul, also affectionately known as Rick, was born on August 16, 1951 in Youngstown, Ohio, a son to the late Paul E. and Dorothy (Knight) Patterson.

Rick was a 1969 graduate of Girard High School. He had worked for Cold Metal Products for 31 years and would then go on to work for Simco.

He was a former member of the Western Reserve Railroad Club and the Corvette Club.

Rick enjoyed in his spare time camping and hiking in Cooks Forest with his son, traveling to Colorado, bike riding, and collecting vinyl records. He loved helping and teaching others because he taught as he did. Above all else he loved his son and dog, Rebel.

Rick leaves to cherish his memory his son, Paul (Lauren) Patterson and brother, David Patterson.

Along with his parents Paul is preceded in death by his sisters, Shirley Hunter and Nancy Favier and brother, William Patterson.

The family will receive relatives and friends on Sunday, March 22nd from 2-5 PM at Blackstone Funeral Home in Girard, with a memorial service to follow at 5:00.
