Philip Tod Davey

Philip “Tod” Davey, 62, of Berea, passed away suddenly of cardiac arrest on Saturday, October 20, 2018, at his home. Tod was born November 28, 1955, in Youngstown, the son of Lamoine and Edna (Stambaugh) Davey. He was a graduate of Girard High School and served his country in the US Army as an E-4. He had previously worked at Granell , and for Northpoint Realty, LLC. and Ostendorf-Morris. Tod enjoyed hunting, fishing, camping and putting puzzles together. Tod is survived by his son, Anthony L. (Megan) Davey, his two grandchildren, Emma and Bryce, brothers; Richard L. Davey, of Girard, Kenneth J. Davey, of Eaton, Howard “Leslie” Davey, of Lakewood, and James R. Davey, of Girard, his sisters; Jeanette R. (Dick) Burke of Bethel, Conn., Janice R. (Wendall) Tackett, of Fort Worth, Texas, Fran M. (Jerry) Thomas, of Brunswick, Margaret A. (Rich) Meek, of Westfield, NY, Kathy J. (Jerry) Cleckner, of Youngstown, Roberta L. Lawrentz, of Girard , and Eva L. (Cliff) Nelms, of Canfield, Tony’s mom, Sandee Regal, and many nieces and nephews. Besides his parents, Tod is preceded in death by his brothers; Lee Roy Davey, William Stambaugh Davey, sister, Linda Ann Boyd, and closest uncle, William Homer Stambaugh. As per Tod’s wishes, there will be no services. A private family gathering will be held at later date.  Arrangements are entrusted to Laubenthal-Mercado Funeral Home and Blackstone Funeral Home.
