Raymond C. Brauer, 81, of Niles, passed away on Monday, August 21, 2017, at Trumbull Memorial Hospital. Ray was born July 30, 1936 in Youngstown, Ohio, the son of Ralph and Della (Hacker) Brauer. Ray had last worked for Carlson Travel Agency and was a member of the former Immanuel Lutheran Church in Youngstown. He was a member and inducted into the Trumbull County Hall of Fame and enjoyed golfing and going to the casino's. He served his country in the US Army. Ray is survived by his son, Raymond (Karla) Brauer of Alabama and Sandra Brauer of Niles, his twin brother Richard (Sally) Brauer of Liberty Twp, four grandchildren and one great-grandson. Besides his parents, he is preceded in death by his wife, Janet Ann (Pavlick) Brauer, whom he married September 28, 1957 and died February 17, 2017 and his brother Donald. Memorial services will be held on Thursday, August 24th, 7:00 PM at Blackstone Funeral Home in Girard where the family will receive relatives and friends from 5:00 PM until the time of service.
