Richard J. Forte

Richard J. Forte, 72, of Girard, passed away suddenly on Tuesday, December 30th, 2025.

Richard (Rick) was born on August 24, 1953, in Youngstown, Ohio, to Joseph and Ruth (Rosenberg) Forte.

He graduated from Girard High School in 1971. After graduation, he served four years in the United States Air Force, where he was discharged with honor. Rick later worked for Securitas as a Security Guard for many years.

Rick's pride and joy was his beloved dog, Rocky. He loved taking him to the park. Rick was also an avid weightlifter and exercised daily.

He leaves to cherish his memory his daughter, Erika Forte of Texas; his sister, Judith (David) Martin; and brother, David Forte, both of Girard. He also leaves behind his grandchildren, Alex (Kennedy) Garcia, Lauryn Garcia, and Brandon Garcia of Texas.
