Robert C. Houck

Robert C. Houck, 75, of Girard, passed away on Monday December 30, 2019, at Hospice House in Poland. Robert was born February 2, 1944, in Youngstown, the son of Amos and Ethel M. (Glenn)  Houck. He had worked in supervision at Binghamton Psychiatric Center, in Binghamton, New York and had attended Practical Bible Training School. He was a member of Pleasant Valley Evangelical Church in Liberty Twp. Robert was considered a master craftsman, always being able to build anything to precision, and working on miniature model ships. He leaves to cherish his memory, his son, Brian (Debra) Houck, of Stuarts Draft, Virginia, his grandson, Brendon, sisters, Edith (Ray) Riggleman, of Girard, twin sisters, Florence Houck, of Hudson, Florida and Virginia (Ken) Cope, of Silicon Valley, California, and Elsie (Olan) Race, of Anchorage, Alaska, and a brother Fred (Joan) Houck, of Hudson, Florida. Besides his parents, Robert is preceded in death by his wife, Bonnie, who died in 1998, his grandson, Evyn, sister, Betty Houck, and brothers, Dick Houck, Don Houck and Jack Houck. A Celebration of Life, will be held on Satuday, January 4th, 1:00 PM at Blackstone Funeral Home, in Girard, where the family will receive relatives and friends from 11:00 AM - 1:00 PM. Robert will be laid to rest in Falls, Pennsylvania, next to his wife.
