Sharon D. DelBene, 75, of Girard, passed away on Wednesday, November 29, 2017, at Northside Medical Center. Sharon was born November 25, 1942 in Dearborn, Michigan, the daughter of Douglas and Mildred (Fogarty) Hauenstein. Sharon had worked for many years as a cook for Little Peppino's Restaurant in Girard. She leaves to cherish her memory, her daughters; Jacqueline A. (Craig) Rose and Jennifer A. Ziegler, both of Girard, grandchildren; Robert D. Caldwell and Allison Rose and a great-granddaughter, Addison A. Caldwell. Besides her parents, Sharon is preceded in death by her sister, Joanne Scott, son-in-law, Randy Ziegler and her long time companion, Glen "Skip" Holton. Funeral services will be held on Monday, December 4th, 7:00 PM at Blackstone Funeral Home in Girard, where the family will receive family and friends from 5:00 PM until the time of service.
