Shirlee Rohrbaugh

Shirlee Rohrbaugh, 76, Of Hubbard, passed away peacefully on Sunday, July 20th, 2025, at St. Elizabeth Hospital in Youngstown, Ohio.

Shirlee was born on September 22, 1948, in Youngstown, the daughter of Shirley "Chubby" Rohrbaugh and Jean Barbero Modarelli.

A 1966 graduate of Ursuline High School, Shirlee went on to attend Youngstown State University.

Throughout her life, Shirlee was known for her generous spirit and her passion for helping others. With a vivacious personality and a laugh that could fill a room, Shirlee lived life out loud. Her infectious laughter often arrived before she did, announcing her presence with warmth and joy.

She had an Irish heart, and her legendary St. Patrick's Day parties were a highlight of the year for her family and friends.

Shirlee also loved music, storytelling, and most of all, spending time with her family and friends.

She leaves behind a legacy of love and laughter in her children, Ray (Marie) Marks and Robalyne (Tom) Sciubba; her brother, Wayne (Susan) Rohrbaugh; grandchildren, John (Kayli) Heydle, Jessica (Dennis) Heydle, Jillian Stilley, and Alana Sciubba; and great-granddaughters, Avah and Emily Heydle. Shirlee is also survived by several cousins and cherished nieces and nephews, as well as her beloved dog, Milo, who will surely miss her home cooked meals.

Along with her parents, she is preceded in death by her sister, Cindi Latiano; and brother, Robert "Bob" Rohrbaugh.

A memorial service for Shirlee will be held on August 8th, 2025, at 7:00PM at Blackstone Funeral Home in Girard, where calling hours will begin an hour before the service.

Shirlee will be remembered as our Last Rose of Summer - a vibrant soul whose laughter, warmth and love will echo in the hearts of all who knew her.
