Shirley Joan (Holland) Fitch

Shirley Joan Fitch, 88, of Girard, passed peacefully on Sunday, July 29th, 2018, at St. Mary’s in Columbiana. Shirley was born April 10, 1930, in Washington County, Pennsylvania, the daughter of Hugh and Kathryn (Howells) Holland. She was a member of Girard First United Methodist Church, where she belonged to the Lydia Circle and the Girard Literary Club. She leaves to cherish her memory, her children; Kathryn E. (Richard) Harasyn of Girard, Francis “Frank” Fitch of Warren, and Mary (William) Carney of Poland, grandchildren; Macsen (Renee) Harasyn and Pamela Harasyn, two great-grandchildren; Adriana and Cadence and nieces and nephews. Besides her parents, Shirley is preceded in death by her sister, Betty Lindeman. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, August 1st, 11:00 AM at Blackstone Funeral Home, in Girard, where the family will receive relatives and friends from 10:00 AM until the time of service. Shirley will be laid to rest at Girard City Cemetery.
