Shontell L. Williams, 37, of Youngstown, passed away suddenly on Monday, October 31, 2022 at his residence. Shontell was born May 15, 1985 in Warren, Ohio, the son of Alvin Blackwell Sr. and Angela Williams. Shontell was working for Kelley Deluxe Landscaping as a landscaper and was planning on obtaining his CDL License to become a truck driver. He was a member of the Seventh Day of Adventist Church. He enjoyed fishing, barbecuing, chess and playing cards, especially Texas Hold'em. Besides his parents, Angela Williams and Alvin (Bethany) Blackwell Sr., he leaves to cherish his memory, his wife, Beth (Rhine) Williams whom he married May 9, 2009; his step father Charles Kirnon of Warren, his sisters, Shawnda Worthy of Warren and Adreana (Dereck) Caldwell of Detroit, Michigan; brothers, Alvin Blackwell Jr. and Quentin Blackwell, both of Grand Rapids, Michigan; and grandmother, Henrietta Low, of Grand Rapids, Michigan, 20 nieces and nephews and 10 great nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his grandparents, Elizabeth and Kelley Williams and Alfred Blackwell; and step-brother Brennon Marshal. Private services were held on Tuesday, November 8th, 3:00PM at Blackstone Funeral Home, where family and friends gathered from 2:00 PM until the time of service.
