Suzanne Mathew

Suzanne Mathew, 74, of Girard, passed away on Friday, April 25, 2025 at Liberty Healthcare Center.

Suzanne was born October 23, 1950 in Youngstown, OH, a daughter to the late Nicholas and Mary (Leech) Pavlinic Sr.

She was a 1968 graduate of Girard High School, and later went on to work at Perkins Restaurant & Bakery in Liberty for several years.

She was also a member of Warren Revival Center Church.

In her spare time, Suzanne loved traveling to different places, going to garage sales with her friend, Marcie, and was known for her festive home decor each holiday.

Suzanne was a cat lover and would help any cat in need, leaving 4 of her own behind: Punky, Cookie, Red and Smokey.

She also leaves to cherish her memory her daughter, Tracy E. Lynn (Charles Mahan Jr.); brothers, Nicholas (Margaret) Pavlinic Jr., and Thomas (Sharron) Pavlinic; grandchildren, John and Delaney; and her good friend of over 40 years, Marcie Nagy.

The family will receive relatives and friends on Thursday, May 1st from 5-7PM at Blackstone Funeral Home in Girard. A funeral service will be held on Friday, May 2nd at 11:00 AM at the funeral home.

Suzanne will be laid to rest at Calvary Cemetery.
