Thomas R. Hays, 75, formerly of Girard, passed away on July 8, 2017 at Signature of Warren. Thomas was born July 6, 1942 in Warren, Ohio, the son of Myron and Edna (Amy) Hays.
Prior to his retirement in 2004, Thomas was a Millwright at RMI Steel for 40 years.Thomas enjoyed camping and golfing.
Thomas leaves to cherish his memory, his wife, Marsha A. Hayes, whom he married December 9, 1977, his children David W. (Kelly) of Girard and Rhonda Schell of Kansas, his sister; Dorie Hays, his brothers; Paul Hays and Leo B. Hays, his nine grandchildren; and great-grandchildren.
Besides his parents, he is preceded in death by his children Thomas Hays and Terri Thompson, his sister; Patricia Vintz, his brother; Roger Hays and his grandson, Hunter Clark. A memorial service will be held on Friday at 3:00 PM at Green Haven Memorial in Canfield. The family will receive relatives and friends from 2:00 PM until the time of the service.
