William M. Deislinger

William M. "Mr. Bill" Deislinger, 78, of Girard, passed away on Friday, April 24, 2026 at his residence. Bill was born March 11, 1948, a son of Robert G. and Catherine C. (Wilthew) Deislinger.

Bill was a graduate of Girard High School and resided in Girard all his life. He had worked for General Fireproofing until its closure. He then became Girard's sports photographer for many years, and was know affectionately as "Mr. Bill" to all who knew him at the games.

He enjoyed his walks around the block, stopping to talk to his neighbors along the way, fishing, and poker games with his friends.

Bill is survived by his brother, Jack Deislinger and his wife Mary; nephew Robert Deislinger and his daughter Caroline; nieces Anne (Andrew IV) Reinhart and their children, Andrew V and Elliott, and Kathryn (Kevin) Baker and their children, Molly and Connor.

He is preceded in death by his parents.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday, May 1st, 10:00 AM at St. Rose Church.

The family will receive relatives and friends on Thursday, April 30th, from 5-7 PM at Blackstone Funeral Home.

Bill will be laid to rest at Girard City Cemetery next to his parents.
