Carol Ann Shick

Carol Ann Shick, 66, of Girard, passed away on Saturday, May 8, 2021 at University Hospital. Carol was born August 15, 1954 in Girard, Ohio, a daughter of William and Christine (DeNoble) Shick. She was a 1972 Girard High School graduate and after high school attended beauty school. Carol worked at JC Penney hair salon at Eastwood Mall for 30 years and most recently worked at Walgreens in Hubbard. She was an avid collector of action figures and memorabilia, and always looked forward to attending family gatherings, in Hermitage, PA. Carol is survived by her aunts and uncles; Edith (DeNoble) Fragle of Hermitage, PA, Josephine (DeNoble) Burke of Hermitage, PA, Fred DeNoble of Pensacola, Florida, and Arlene (DeNoble) Allen of Stockton, California, along with many cousins and her beloved cats, Chloe and Pip. A private funeral service will be held for the family. Carol will be laid to rest at Girard City Cemetery. The family suggests any memorial contributions be made to Beaver County Humane Society Cat Program: 3394 Brodhead Road Center Township, PA 15001.
