Cheryl A. Gingrich, 64, of Austintown, passed away on Monday, November 16, 2020 at St. Elizabeth Hospital in Boardman. Cheryl was born August 29, 1956 in Youngstown, Ohio, the daughter of the late Frank and Jean (Lawlor) Serrino. She retired from Trumbull County Board of Education as a school psychologist in 2015 after thirty years. She attended Olhtown United Methodist Church and was a member of the National Association of School Psychologists. Cheryl was a devoted wife of Kenneth P. Gingrich, whom she married April 28, 1979 and mother to Matthew Gingrich (Fiancee Shawna Perkins) and a grandmother to Matthew Jr., who gave her the greatest joy in life. She is also survived by her sister, Chris Serrino (Fiancee Gene King), of Indiana and brothers, Frank (Wendy) Serrino, of Glencoe, Illinois, Gary (Debra) Serrino, of Albuquerque New Mexico, and Sam (Megan) Serrino, of Boardman. Private services will be held at Green Haven Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers, the family requests any material contributions be made to help defray funeral expenses.
