Elizabeth "Betty" Morgan

Elizabeth "Betty" Morgan, 97, of Youngstown, formerly of Girard, passed away on Monday, April 27, 2020, at Park Vista Nursing Care Center. Betty was born March 23, 1923, a daughter of John and Anna (Lastyk) Green. She had worked for Packard Electric Plant and Niles Steel Production. Betty was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church and the Girard Eagles Lodge. She leaves to cherish her memory, her daughter, Donna(Abel) Contreras, of West Hills, CA,  her son Ron L. Morgan, of Frazier Park, CA and niece Charlene (Sam) McCracken. Betty is preceded in death by her husband, Edwin C. Morgan, whom she married February 16, 1946 and died October 4, 2014 and her brothers, George Green and Stephen Green. Private services will be held at Blackstone Funeral Home. Betty will be laid to rest at Tod Homestead Cemetery, next her her beloved husband Edwin.The family is asking for donations to be made to Girard Aerie #2172 for the Doc Morgan Scholarship Fund.
