Mary L. (Reed) Ratliff

Mary Louis Ratliff, 81, of Liberty Twp., passed away on Wednesday, August 7, 2019 at her home with her family by her side. Mary was born September 2, 1937 in Morgantown, West Virginia,the daughter of the late James and Bertie Reed. She was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ in Girard. Mary had previously worked at Stambaugh Thompson and retired after 12 years. She loved playing bingo, and would travel numerous places to play, she also enjoyed fishing. Mary leaves to cherish her memory her husband of 62 years, Lilburn T. Ratliff, whom she married March 1, 1957, her children, Kevin Ratliff of Campbell, Trina Westover of Girard, and Chris Ratliff of Girard, her sisters, Dorothy, Berthie, Barbara "Bobbie" ,Shirley all of Morgantown, WV, and Edith of Columbus, her brother Johnny of Morgantown, WV, her grandchildren, Candi Hunter, Thomas Westover Jr.,  Patty Ann Ratliff, and Danielle Bland, and her great grandchildren, James Mortimer Jr., Chelsea Hunter, Chace Hunter, Hope Bland, and Rileigh Westover. Mary is preceded in death by her son Rory Ratliff and her sister, Dee Mason. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, August 13th, 12:00 PM at Blackstone Funeral Home, where the family will receive relatives and friends on Monday, August 12th, 12:00-3:00 PM at the funeral home.
